AKIN TO ONE'S SEARCH FOR AN IDENTITY, SEEKING A BALANCE BETWEEN CONFORMITY AND ALIENATION, THE DESIGN IS THE PRODUCT OF A DIALOGUE BETWEEN CREATIVE EXPRESSION, ANALYSIS OF THE EXISTING SITE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS, AND FUNCTION.

A CLOSE STUDY OF THE AREA'S GRID SYSTEM AND FORCES, FACILITATED BY SATALITE IMAGERY AND BY SITE OBSERVATIONS, REVEALING THE DYNAMICS CREATED BY THE MEETING, AND THE OVERLAPPING OF THESE MOMENTS.

INTENDED FOR A SEAPLANE PORT, THE CROSS-SECTION OF AN AIRCRAFT WING, OR FOIL, INFORMED ITS DEVELOPMENT AS DID THE PROPONDERANCE OF THE TRIP OF ELEMENTS AIR, WATER, AND LAND.
