SMART SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS

SMART SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS (SSS) IS THE LAST COURSE OF A SERIES OF THREE ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS COURSES AT SCIARC. THE PROJECT LISTED BELOW WAS THE FINAL PROJECT FOR THE SSS COURSE THAT WAS COMPLETED AS A GROUP PROJECT.
 
THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN AN ADDITION TO THE SCIARC CAMPUS THAT WOULD INCLUDE ADDITIONAL CLASSROOM SPACES, CAFETERIA, STUDENT HOUSING AND OTHER STUDENT FACILITIES. THE PROPOSAL REQUIRED TO INCLUDE A SUSTAINABLE DESIGN INTEGRATING SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS.

THE PATHWAYS FROM ONE BUILDING TO ANOTHER ARE "ECO-BRIDGES" THAT IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE SHADING, COLLECT WATER AND ADD GARDEN SPACES.
